Eating Out

Surfside Bar - Beach front bar at Holetown that also does food. We walk down onto the beach turn left and stroll along the sand for about 10 mins. (can be reached by the road as well) Perfect for watching the sun set. Food is pretty reasonably priced and you can also catch up on any live sporting fixtures.

Ragamuffins – Restaurant on 1st Street. Great Bajan food. The blackened catch of the day is our favourite. There is an excellent “cabaret” on Sunday nights which shouldn’t be missed. You may need to book a table for the cabaret in busy season.

The Mews – On 2nd Street. Fine dining upstairs, delicious food and very friendly staff. Stylish bar downstairs good for a nightcap after dinner.

Cocomos – just past the Scotiabank in Holetown. Set on the sea front, great menu – portions are big so it is easy to over order. Ask for a seafront table. Great cocktails; even if you don’t go for dinner go for a cocktail and watch the waves crash up on the rocks. It’s a special restaurant that ’s reasonably priced.

Tides – (432 8356) Opposite the chattels just south of Holetown (15 min walk from the apartment). This is a really special restaurant good for a romantic night. It is pricey, but worth it for the food, waterfront views, atmosphere and excellent service. Probably best to book if you want a waterfront table.

Café Indigo – does a great English breakfast and usually provides a photocopy of a UK newspaper from that day.

De Vine café – situated in the middle of the Chattel shops. This café is good for a mid morning drink. Their cappuccino is our favourite in the area. Not great for food, but ok for a snack. They usually provide a photocopy of a UK newspaper from that day as well.
